Sushi Dog is a real gem for a quick and satisfying lunch. I honestly don’t get why it would receive bad reviews — it’s not pretending to be a high-end sushi spot, but what it does offer is fresh, flavourful food with great combinations and solid value for money. Whether you’re in the mood for sushi or a light, Asian-style salad, this place delivers. We’ve been a couple of times now and always go for the sushi rolls — they’re generously filled, and one roll is easily enough to fill you up. They’re also great for sharing if you want to try a few different flavours. Portion sizes are fair, ingredients are fresh, and the prices are more than reasonable, especially by London standards. It’s hard to find good sushi for under 10 that’s made to order and not from a massive chain like Itsu. Simple, inventive, and genuinely tasty — we’ll definitely keep coming back.

Unexpectedly good. I was on my way to another restaurant for my kids and I thought I stop by. I got the chicken with Avo roll. It’s a menu item and it has edamames in it too. I would have never put edamames in a roll but I tried it. It was sooooooo delicious. You can watch them make it in front of you. I will definitely go back before the trip is over.

This is my favourite place to buy poke in town . The sushi dog concept just works. You need a quick meal, the offer it in a roll or in a bowl. They can tailor your order, I always do half a slaw base and half rice. The fillings are varied and fresh and overall it’s good value considering all the ingredients they use and the central location. Go!

Popped in for lunch from my office nearby and had an awesome experience! The girl (I think she was the manager?) was super helpful and walked me through the ordering step by step, really appreciated that. The food was fresh, tasty, and just what I needed in the middle of a busy day. Will definitely be back
